What you'll do

- Design and develop quantitative models to analyze complex datasets, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key business challenges and develop data-driven solutions.
- Conduct rigorous statistical analyses to validate model performance and ensure robustness of findings.
- Utilize machine learning techniques to enhance predictive capabilities and improve model accuracy.
- Prepare and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex data into understandable insights.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented models, making adjustments as necessary to optimize performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data science methodologies to continuously improve our analytical capabilities.
- Contribute to the development of best practices for data management and analysis within the organization.




- Assist in the creation of data visualizations that effectively communicate insights and support decision-making processes.
- Mentor junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.
- Engage in research initiatives to explore new data sources and methodologies that can enhance our analytical framework.
- Participate in the design and execution of experiments to test hypotheses and validate assumptions related to business strategies.

Requirements

- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in data science, quantitative analysis, or a similar role within a financial or tech environment.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with a strong understanding of data manipulation and analysis libraries.
- Extensive experience with statistical modeling techniques, including regression analysis, time series analysis, and machine learning algorithms.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to effectively communicate findings.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal,



with the ability to present technical information to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.

Nice to have

- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of financial markets and investment strategies, providing context for data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure for data storage and processing.
- Previous experience in a startup or high-growth environment, demonstrating adaptability and innovation.
- Understanding of data governance and compliance standards relevant to financial data management.
