What you'll do
- Design and maintain services for payment processing, identity verification, and loyalty features.
- Lead technical strategy for projects involving multiple teams, including documentation and design reviews.
- Improve system quality by implementing rigorous testing, safe rollouts, and reducing technical debt.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on event-driven patterns and operational standards.
- Own the full development lifecycle from API design to production monitoring.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in backend software engineering.
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- Practical experience with microservices and cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in English.
Nice to have
- Experience with GenAI features, including LLM integration, LangGraph, or Amazon Bedrock.
- Background in managing distributed systems and external banking protocols.
