About the Company

EV BioSolutions S.p.A. is newly incorporated Italian biotechnology start-up (2025) focusing on the isolation, characterization, validation, and scalable production of orange extracellular vesicles (oEVs) as a next-generation technology platform for the delivery of therapeutics, biologics, and vaccines.

Position

Summary

We are seeking an experiences CTO with a strong scientific and technological background. The successful candidate will lead the company's operations and will promote its business, driving the transition from research and proof-of-concept to industrial development and value creation. The CTO will be responsible for overseeing technology development, and leading the organization through key scientific and operational, milestones, including a critical role in searching and establishing key strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Execute the company's overall scientific and technology strategy. Lead the development of the extracellular vesicle platform from pre-clinical research through future development stages. Oversee R&D;, analytical validation, process development, manufacturing scale-up, and technology transfer activities. Develop and implement intellectual property and innovation

Establish and manage the regulatory and development roadmap in alignment with applicable international standards and requirements. Collaborate with Management in maintaining relationships with investors, venture capital firms, pharmaceutical partners, CROs, CDMOs, academic institutions, and key stakeholders. Collaborate in fundraising activities, investor presentations, business planning, and corporate development initiatives.

Recruit, develop, and manage the technology team. Ensure achievement of scientific and operational milestones. Represent the company externally with investors, partners, regulatory bodies,



and the scientific community.

Qualifications and Experience

Advanced degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medicine, or a related field; PhD or equivalent preferred. Significant leadership experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, life sciences.

Strong knowledge of extracellular vesicles, biological nanoparticles or advanced drug delivery systems. Proven experience managing pre-clinical development programs and biologics-based technologies. Understanding of GMP manufacturing, CMC development, quality systems, and regulatory frameworks relevant to biotechnology products.

Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, resource-constrained startup environment. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Fluency in English; additional languages are considered as ‘nice to have’.

Strongly recommended attitudes

Ability to combine scientific credibility with operational leadership. Track record of translating innovative science into scalable products and business opportunities. Strong execution capabilities and milestone-driven management approach.

Experience building and scaling startup organizations from early-stage development through growth phases. International network within biotech and pharmaceutical companies
