We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Platform Engineer, to elevate our data and analytics environments. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, deploying, and managing robust infrastructure solutions that leverage cloud technologies and big data frameworks, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security. /p h3What You'll Be Doing /h3 ul liInfrastructure as Code: Utilize Terraform and ARM templates to automate the deployment and management of cloud infrastructure /li liScripting and Automation: Develop scripts in PowerShell and YAML for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and other automation tasks /li liAzure Skills: Implement and manage Azure IaaS and PaaS services, ensuring optimal performance and cost management /li liNetworking: Configure and manage Azure networking components, including Application Gateways and Azure Firewalls,
to ensure secure and efficient traffic flow /li liMonitoring and Optimization: Visualize and monitor infrastructure performance and efficiency, leveraging native Azure tools and third-party solutions /li liIdentity Management: Implement OAuth2 and OpenID Connect for secure authentication, utilizing Azure Entra ID as the identity provider /li liPolicy Management: Enforce and manage Azure Policies to ensure compliance and governance of cloud resources /li liScaling and Redundancy: Design and implement scalable solutions with redundancy features, such as geo-redundancy, to ensure high availability /li liDatabase Management: Apply basic SQL knowledge for managing and querying databases as part of application deployments and operational support /li liCollaboration: Work with development and operations teams to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement in DevOps practices /li liOnCall availability (if needed) /li /ul h3What You'll Bring Along /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Informatics/ or similar field of study/or equivalent working experience is required /li liMinimum 5 years demonstrable experience in a DevOps Engineer role /li liStrong experience with Terraform, YAML, and PowerShell scripting /li liProficient with Azure infrastructure components (IaaS and PaaS) /li liFamiliarity with distributed systems and administration of Windows Servers /li liUnderstanding of Azure Policies and redundancy scaling concepts /li liExperience with Azure networking components and API Management /li liKnowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect protocols, and Azure Entra Identity Provider /li liBasic proficiency in SQL /li liExcellent problem-solving and communication skills /li liFamiliarity with DevOps methodologies including Scrum and Agile practices for software development /li liCertifications related to Azure and DevOps practices /li liFamiliarity with CI/CD tools and practices /li liKnowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) /li liExcellent command of both spoken and written English /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
