Working closely with internal stakeholders and the MET Group Analytics team, you will translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, develops data models and reporting tools, and contribute to the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and data-driven capabilities across the organization. /p pAs bIntegrations Specialist /b, you will be responsible for gathering and tracking functional requirements, developing and maintaining operational automations built in Azure Databricks, and managing integrations between business applications, data platforms, and Databricks. You will ensure seamless data flows, support process automation initiatives, and contribute to the reliability and efficiency of the company's technology ecosystem. /p pAs part of the IT team, you will progressively take ownership of a variety of activities, making a valuable contribution to our daily operations through the following responsibilities: /p ul liCollaborate with Met Group Analytics team on BI activities, design, functional analysis, upgrading and maintenance /li liDefine user requirements and translating them into technical specifications documents and develop solutions with existing or new tools /li liImprove existing systems and take care of the implementation process of new applications designed and chosen to maximize the productivity of the company and its activities /li liData Modelling and database development tools PL/SQL (mainly Oracle and MS SQL Server) /li liDevelop and maintain SQL and Python scripts to support data analytics, system integrations, and process automation /li liCommunicate and transform information into effective visual presentations (data visualization, presentation skills, incl. mastery of Power Point)



/li liSupporting the launch of new ideas and projects to grow the business /li liBe active and ready to take on new challenges in other areas of MET should this become your desire /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered. Knowledge of and experience within the energy sector is preferred /li li3-5 years of experience as SQL/Phyton Developer /li liStrong expertise in data modeling principles and methodologies, including conceptual, logical and physical data models /li liBasic knowledge of troubleshooting and problem analysis /li liProficiency in web services technologies (e.g. REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, etc.) /li liDemonstrate strong analytical thinking and a proactive approach toward adopting emerging technologies /li liBuild and maintain collaborative relationships across diverse teams and external partners /li liEffectively manage stakeholder expectations while navigating competing priorities in a dynamic environment /li liExcellent technical support and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on efficiently resolving user queries and issues /li liAbility to effectively prioritize workload, manage multiple responsibilities, and consistently meet deadlines /li liFluent in Italian with a strong command of English /li /ul h3TECHNICAL SKILLS /h3 h3Required /h3 ul liStrong knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL/PLSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server /li liExperience with Databricks, Python, Power BI, and Power Query /li liAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query, Power Pivot, and data visualization tools /li liKnowledge of REST APIs and process automation solutions such as Microsoft Power Automate /li /ul h3Preferred /h3 ul liExperience with big data and distributed processing technologies (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Flink, Hadoop Ecosystem, HDFS, S3) /li liKnowledge of Microsoft Azure data platforms, including Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Key Vault /li liFamiliarity with Java, Salesforce development (Apex, Flows, Triggers), and modern front-end technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular) /li liUnderstanding of cloud infrastructure and security concepts, including VPC and IAM /li /ul h3Additional Information /h3 ul liPermanent employment contract /li liThe position is aligned with Level 2 of the CCNL Commercio.
