Unisciti a noi per contribuire a far funzionare ciò che fa funzionare il mondo. /p h3Questa Posizione Risponde a /h3 pTechnical Consulting Manager II /p h3Your Role And Responsibilities /h3 pWe are seeking a Power System Engineer to join our team supporting customers in the design and implementation of advanced direct current (DC) architectures for data centers and industrial applications. This role focuses on DC distribution equipment, power electronics, and protection systems. You will work closely with customers and collaborate with RD teams responsible for developing power electronics solutions and DC equipment to co-develop innovative, reliable, and efficient power solutions. /p pThe work model for the role is hybrid. /p pLocation: Global - Germany, Italy, Switzerland and/or USA /p pYou will be mainly accountable for /p ul liDesign DC power distribution systems incorporating DC distribution equipment such as switchgear, circuit breakers, busbars, energy storage and other power electronics devices. /li liCo-develop solutions with customers to ensure alignment with market needs. /li liPerform electrical system simulations and validate architectures through practical evaluation. /li liConduct system studies (load flow, short-circuit,



protection coordination) using simulation tools. /li liDevelop and evaluate protection schemes (short-circuit analysis, coordination, etc.). /li liCollaborate with RD teams responsible for developing power electronics solutions and DC equipment /li liFrequently review and understand relevant standards, including those still under development, to ensure compliance and future readiness. /li /ul h3Qualifications For The Role /h3 ul li5+ years in power system design, preferably DC systems /li liStrong knowledge of DC protection principles and emerging standards (IEC, IEEE) /li liElectrical system design/engineering expertise in DC distribution /li liMaster's in Electrical Engineering or related field /li liElectrical system simulation expertise (MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD, ETAP) /li liGood knowledge of power electronics, including topologies, basics of semiconductor switching and converter protection /li liAbility to lead technical discussions with customers and internal teams to align on requirements and solutions. /li liAbility to design and evaluate DC protection schemes (short-circuit analysis, coordination) /li liStrong understanding of industry standards,
