The role
We are seeking a commercially focused Growth & Ecommerce Lead to drive profitable growth across acquisition, conversion, retention, internationalisation and website performance.
We already work with agencies managing Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, Microsoft Ads and Klaviyo, alongside Shopify developers, tracking specialists and a CRO agency. You will coordinate and challenge these partners, identify opportunities and ensure projects are implemented effectively.
You will also co-ordinate with our Head of Marketing, who leads organic content across social media, blogs and YouTube.
Core requirement
Candidates must have a proven track record of profitably scaling a comparable premium, luxury or high-consideration Shopify brand.
Professional English fluency is a requirement.
Responsibilities
Own the commercial growth roadmap and improve revenue, contribution margin, CAC, LTV, MER, repeat purchase rate and payback.
Audit agency strategy, budgets, creative testing and channel allocation.
Apply strong hands-on media-buying knowledge across Meta, Google and TikTok.
Lead new sales channel set up, integration and roll out both independently and/or with agency/specialist partners where appropriate.
Diagnose drop-offs across landing pages, product pages, cart and checkout.
Manage CRO, Shopify development and tracking projects through implementation.
Lead resolution of website outages, checkout failures, tracking breaks, app conflicts and feed errors, removing incident management from the founder
Analyse creative performance and brief agencies, creators and the organic content team.
Improve Klaviyo, repeat purchasing,
AOV and LTV through segmentation, cross-selling, accessories, straps, bundles, servicing and new product ideas.
Liaise with Head of Marketing to grow organic, direct and branded-search revenue mix.
Lead international expansion, including DDP, translation, localisation, currencies, regional pricing, payments and returns. This includes associated A/B testing ideation & project management.
Use Triple Whale, Shopify, GA4 and financial data to identify problems and opportunities. Strong understanding of tracking is preferred.
Establish clear agency deliverables, deadlines and accountability.
Map out events calendar preparing the business to capitalise on key seasonal periods.
Plan and coordinate with teams effective product teaser, launch, and post launch execution
Review external variables impacting profitability/CAC including reviews and defect rates – full scope diagnosis, insight and enhanced team process implementation. Working with our wider CS and Ops teams.
Scope may expand appropriately within reason according to the dynamic nature of the business requirements during growth.
Success measures
Profitable revenue growth, contribution margin, CAC, conversion rate, AOV, LTV, repeat purchasing, organic revenue mix, international profitability and website reliability.
Required experience
7+ years in ecommerce, growth or performance marketing.
Proven experience scaling an equivalent Shopify brand.
Strong knowledge of Meta, Google, TikTok, Klaviyo, Shopify, GA4, Triple Whale and other platforms.
Demonstrable success improving CAC, CRO, retention, AOV, repeat sales and profitability.
Experience managing agencies, developers and technical specialists.
International ecommerce and localisation experience. xysqume
