ph3SUMMARY OF ROLE /h3 pThe role involves managing the inspector and expediter team based in Cinisello Balsamo, planning their activities accordingly to the fixed deadlines. In addition to the managerial part, the resource will be directly involved for an estimated 40% of the time in execution, which means to carry out the project specific inspections and release the materials as detailed in the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and as directed and instructed by the home office. /p h3PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 ul liManage team issues and support them with their day-to-day activities /li liPlan travel and allocate resources to the projects /li liWitness shop inspection and testing of material and equipment as detailed in the ITP. /li liAttend pre-inspection meetings / progress review meetings at supplier's workshop. /li liPrepare and issue the Inspection Reports after each inspection visit. /li liCheck the compliance of materials and equipment with purchase order requirements. /li liEnsure that all works undertaken are completed in accordance with the project specifications. /li liLiaise with the requisitioning Engineer and Inspection Expediting Manager as appropriate.



/li liProvide feedback on supplier / sub-supplier performance upon request. /li /ul h3TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS /h3 pFrequency approximately 40%. /p h3REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE and LANGUAGES /h3 h3Education and Qualifications /h3 ul liUniversity Degree or Technical Diploma in Electrical Subjects /li liDegrees in technical subjects (e.g. Engineering) considered a plus. /li /ul h3Experience /h3 ul liAt least 5 years of experience as inspector at other companies. /li liHaving worked for companies belonging to the industrial manufacturing sector (Oil and Gas, Refinery, Ammonia, etc.) is mandatory. /li liHaving worked for EPC (Engineering - Procurement - Construction) companies is considered a plus. /li /ul h3Languages /h3 ul liEnglish, at least C1 both written and spoken. /li /ul pNidec is committed to ensuring equal opportunities and promoting all qualified individuals regardless of gender, nationality, ethnic and social origin, religion/belief, disability, age, sexual orientation and identity. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
