Here, your ideas turn into innovative solutions that transform industries, infrastructure, mobility and everyday life. /ppbYour next chapter starts here! /b /ph3Your role: /h3pAs an bApplication Engineer – Motion Control /b, you will be part of the Digital Industries (DI) team, contributing to enabling customers across Italy to design, validate and commission advanced Motion Control applications while maximizing the value of Siemens technologies throughout the entire lifecycle, from digital simulation to on-site commissioning. Your day-to-day activities will include developing and testing Motion Control software solutions, supporting commissioning and troubleshooting activities, and collaborating closely with customers, partners, and the sales organization to deliver innovative and high-performing automation solutions. /ph3You’ll make an impact by: /h3ulliDriving the design, development, testing, and validation of Motion Control solutions based on customer requirements and system specifications. /liliManaging parameterization, digital simulation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities for automation and motion applications at customer sites. /liliDelivering technical presentations, workshops, and training sessions to customers and partners in classroom, remote, and on-site environments. /liliTranslating customer application needs into Motion Control architectures,



technical specifications, and optimized parameter sets. /liliCollaborating with the sales force to identify the best technical solutions, support proposals, and contribute to business development activities. /liliProviding after-sales technical support, resolving complex technical issues, and sharing lessons learned to continuously improve future applications. /liliExpanding expertise across diverse Motion Control application areas such as Metal Forming, Packaging, Handling, and Converting industries. /liliSupporting the adoption of advanced automation concepts and digitalization technologies, including software design and development. /li /ulh3What makes you a great match: /h3h3Core Requirements /h3ulliMaster's Degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field. /liliExperience with Motion Control technologies, PLC programming, and industrial automation systems. /liliKnowledge of programming languages such as Structured Text (ST) and C; experience with C# is considered a plus. /liliAvailability to travel frequently across Italy and occasionally abroad. /liliProficiency in both Italian and English, written and spoken. /liliEligibility to work in Italy. /li /ulh3Preferred Requirements /h3ulliPassion for the design, development, and commissioning of automatic machines and industrial applications. /liliStrong customer orientation, goal-driven mindset, and ability to work autonomously with initiative.
