For a well known company in the food industry, located in Padua, we are looking for a **Food R&D; Specialist.** **Responsibilities**
- manages a strong pipeline of projects supporting the development of our Functional Solutions in EMEA region. Projects include ingredient testing, formula optimization, trouble-shooting and innovative concept development;
- carries out studies and test on technical characteristics of ingredients and the interaction between them;
- performs analytical tests on new ingredients/products as part of R&D; projects management;
- support R&D; Manager and Sales Manager in pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance;
- new products development and raw materials assessments;
- creates provisional data sheets;
- performs raw materials scouting;
- conducts technical training to sales force and R&D; colleagues. **Your Profile** The Company will consider applicants that meet the following requirements:



- a Master's Degree in Food science and technology or Food biotechnologies;
- at least 3-6 years of experience in medium to large structured companies operating in the food industry sector in the field of research and development;
- excellent theorical and practical knowledge in functional ingredients such as emulsifiers, stabilizers, hydrocolloids, starches, fibers etc..;
- excellent knowledge of possible synergies between different functional ingredients;
- good knowledge of English language (verbal and written);
- willingness to make short trips in Italy and Europe. To complete the profile: problem solving capacity, positivity and enthusiasm, creativity, ability to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment, excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility and precision and organization. LI-MB1
