Technical Service Representative – Aluminium & CoatingsA leading company in the aluminium manufacturing and processing sector is seeking an experienced Technical Service Representative to support customer technical requirements, product development, quality improvement, and innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development, negotiation, and ongoing management of customer technical specifications.Support product development, qualification, validation, and continuous improvement, including metallurgical characteristics, coating systems, and surface properties.Act as the primary technical contact for customers regarding product performance, quality, and technical requirements.Lead technical projects and product improvement initiatives, translating market trends, customer feedback, and commercial opportunities into innovative solutions.Ensure consistent product performance across different metal supply sources.Coordinate the qualification and monitoring of coating systems, paint suppliers, and chemical products, ensuring regulatory compliance, sustainability, and supply continuity.Collaborate closely with Operations, Quality, R&D;, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to understand and meet customer expectations.Lead quality issue resolution, including customer complaints, Root Cause Analysis, 8D investigations,



and implementation of sustainable corrective actions.Support Master Data Management and related technical and administrative activities for customers and products.Identify and develop new business opportunities through technical innovation and strategic customer engagement.RequirementsMaster's degree in Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related technical/scientific discipline.At least 5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably involving continuous production processes.Previous experience in a customer-facing technical, product development, quality, or process engineering role.Strong knowledge of coil coating and coating technologies, including painting processes, surface treatments, and coating systems.In-depth understanding of aluminium metallurgy and related manufacturing processes.Familiarity with quality management methodologies, including Root Cause Analysis and 8D.Native-level Italian and excellent English communication skills.Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and customer-orientation skills.Compensation€47,000–€52,000 gross annual salary + bonusCCNL Metalmeccanico – Level B2/B3This is an opportunity for an experienced technical professional to take a customer-facing role combining product expertise, quality, engineering, innovation, and commercial development within the aluminium manufacturing sector.
