A job adapted to your career ambitions and in which you could have an impact for the years to come? /ppWe are looking for a HR Officer to work at ESA’s ESRIN site in Frascati, Italy. /ppIn this role, you will be part of the HR Support Services, interfacing with ESA staff and management at all sites. /ph3About the client and location /h3pThe ESA Centre for Earth Observation (ESRIN) is the European Space Agency’s (ESA) base in Frascati, Italy. From this location ESA conducts most of their earth observation research, including data analysis and distribution for other non-ESA satellites. /ppThis position is open to protected categories under Italian Law 68/99 (“Rules for the right to work of disabled people”). /ppQuesta posizione e’ aperta alle categorie protette L. 68/99. /ph3Tasks and activities /h3pThe scope of work shall include the following activities: /pulliManaging the day-to-day operation of the ESRIN Local Affairs service Office (LAO). /liliActing as an interface between ESRIN/LAO and the Protocol Office of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Italian Customs, and external service providers. /liliLiaising with ESRIN ESA staff in relation to the implementation of the privileges and immunities provided for under the ESA Convention. /liliPreparing staff information materials, including briefing kits and presentations. /liliActing as content editor for the LOA intranet page. /liliParticipating in meetings with the MFA. /liliSupporting and managing the improvement of LOA processes and services. /liliAssisting in the development of detailed internal processes and procedures. /liliProposing, supporting, and managing digitalisation initiatives for the Office.



/liliTraining newly recruited staff assigned to provide additional support to the LAO Office. /liliAssisting with other tasks linked to harmonisation or backing up of Local Affairs tasks in the Section as required by the ESA Local Affairs Manager. /li /ulh3Skills and experience /h3pThe following skills and experience are mandatory: /pulliUniversity degree, or equivalent qualification, in Business or Public Administration, Human Resources, Finance, Informatics, Engineering, or another relevant field. /liliA minimum of five to six years of relevant professional experience. /liliExcellent communication skills, combined with diplomatic sensitivity. /liliStrong analytical skills. /liliExcellent attention to detail and ability to ensure timely follow-up on actions. /liliAbility to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team in an international and multicultural environment. /liliSolution-oriented mindset, with a strong customer-focused approach to communication. /liliProficiency in Microsoft Office 365. /liliFluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken; knowledge of additional languages would be an asset. /li /ulpThe following skills and experience would be highly desirable: /pulliExperience in a similar role in other international entity. /li /ulh3Why should you apply? /h3ulliYou will have the opportunity to work within leading space organisations across Europe. /liliWe encourage everyone to think outside the box and to push the boundaries of traditional knowledge.
