Control Center System Engineer

In this role you will support the Control Center (OCC) system lifecycle from design to commissioning. You’ll coordinate multi-technology integration across signalling, SCADA, and telecom systems, ensuring alignment with project milestones and customer requirements. You will work closely with engineering, V&V;, installation, and RAMS teams to deliver safe, certified OCC solutions. This position offers hands-on involvement in system integration and on-site commissioning in a fast-paced rail environment.

- Manage work packages from design through commissioning
- Plan and track deliverables, milestones, costs and resources
- Monitor progress and report status, risks, and performance
- Coordinate engineering activities for OCC system integration and interfaces




- Oversee system architecture, configuration, and validation
- Support integration and standardisation of technologies (signalling, SCADA, GSM-R/FRMCS, power and trackside equipment)
- Assist in requirements management, traceability, and RAMS activities
- Support on-site commissioning and entry-into-service phases
- Ensure deliverables meet xysqume customer acceptance criteria
- Act as primary customer contact for OCC-related topics and interface with internal departments
- Knowledge of system integration and interface management
- Experience with Operation Control Center and Traffic Management Systems
- Strong team coordination abilities
- Problem-solving in safety-critical environments
- Effective communication and stakeholder management
