ph3Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead and grow a Consumer-oriented team: Own the day-to-day management of a squad of 3-5 engineers. Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement while ensuring high team morale. /li liPeople Management Mentorship: Actively invest in the growth of your team members through regular 1:1s, actionable feedback, performance reviews, and identifying stretch opportunities to help them advance their careers. /li liDrive delivery and technical execution: Translate product and business goals into a clear, predictable technical roadmap. Optimize agile workflows, unblock your team, and ensure reliable execution of ambitious projects. /li liCollaborate across domains: Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineering Managers to align on priorities, manage dependencies, and define shared engineering standards. /li liReport up and communicate clearly: Keep leadership informed on team progress, risks, and blockers, effectively translating technical complexities into business-relevant terms. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liEngineering Leadership Experience: 5+ years in backend engineering, with at least 2+ years managing a squad in a fast-paced, product-driven environment. /li liPeople-First Mindset: Strong empathy and coaching skills,



with a proven track record of mentoring engineers and fostering an inclusive, collaborative team culture. /li liBackend Expertise Cloud Architecture: Strong command of distributed systems and API design. You know what good looks like and can guide your team in building robust, scalable services in a high-growth or regulated industry. /li liProven Delivery Ownership: Demonstrated ability to own end-to-end delivery of complex features.
