Video Editor (Milan) at eightsleep. About the role Eight Sleep is building the future of sleep fitness through advanced hardware and AI. We are looking for a creative Video Editor to manage our athlete storytelling from initial concept to final delivery.

What you'll do

- Develop storytelling concepts for sports content across various formats, including short-form social and long-form editorial.
- Review raw footage, including rushes and behind-the-scenes material, to identify and build compelling narratives.
- Assist in pre-production planning by suggesting shots, sequences, and creative directions.
- Edit global video output, including athlete films, event coverage, and partnership activations.
- Manage color, sound, and motion design independently during the post-production process.
- Handle diverse footage types, ranging from mobile captures to high-end cinema camera files.
- Execute both fast-turnaround, reactive edits and high-quality,



planned production pieces.

Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in sports, brand, or editorial video production.
- A portfolio demonstrating both conceptual creative thinking and technical editing skills.
- Deep familiarity with sports culture and a strong understanding of what makes a sports story resonate.
- Ability to work autonomously, taking a brief and delivering finished work without constant oversight.
- Willingness to travel across Europe for shoots, events, and races.
- Based in Milan or willing to relocate.

Skills & tools
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Experience with Adobe After Effects.
- Ability to shoot and edit across the full production spectrum, from run-and-gun to planned sets.
