ph3Position /h3 pThe Accounting Manager leads the organization's accounting operations, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of financial records while delivering timely, high-quality financial information to support business decisions. This role combines operational excellence with strong governance, driving efficient financial close processes, robust internal controls, and continuous improvement across the accounting function. /p pActing as a trusted business partner, the Accounting Manager collaborates closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure financial transparency, regulatory compliance, and sustainable business performance. /p pThe role is based in our HQ in Rome. /p h3Job Responsibilities /h3 h3Accounting Operations Financial Close /h3 ul liLead and oversee all accounting activities, including account payable, account receivable, inventory, intercompany, account reconciliations, journal entries, and period-end close. /li liEnsure the accurate and timely recognition of revenues, expenses, accruals, and provisions in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. /li liDrive continuous improvement and automation of accounting processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and data quality. /li liEnsure the integrity of financial records through effective governance and process discipline. /li /ul h3Financial Reporting Business Support /h3 ul liProvide insightful financial analysis, variance reporting, and performance commentary to support executive decision-making. /li liPartner with FPA and business leaders in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. /li liSupport strategic initiatives by providing reliable financial data, projections, and business insights. /li /ul h3Governance, Compliance Risk Management /h3 ul liEnsure full compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies. /li liDesign, maintain, and continuously strengthen the internal control framework to safeguard company assets and ensure reporting accuracy.



/li liCoordinate internal and external audit activities, ensuring the timely resolution of audit findings and implementation of corrective actions. /li /ul h3Leadership Stakeholder Management /h3 ul liLead, develop, and mentor the accounting team, fostering technical excellence, accountability, and professional growth. /li liPromote a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and high-performance execution. /li liContribute to the evolution of the finance function through process optimization, digitalization, and best-practice adoption. /li /ul h3Profile /h3 ul liMaster's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field /li liA minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar management position within an international group, preferably in luxury retail. /li liFluency in English and Italian /li liStrong analytical skills and attention to detail /li liExcellent communication and interpersonal skills /li liStrong leadership skills and team management /li /ul h3Salary Benefits /h3 ul liFor new joiners for this role in Italy, the annual gross salary associated with this position is EUR 65.000. /li liThis is only the initial annual gross salary granted to this position. This figure has been determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria and reflects the starting salary normally applicable to the position at the time of publication of this job posting.
