Test Engineer - Extracurricular Internship

TXT E-Tech S.r.l., part of the TXT Group, is looking for a Test Engineer to join its Aerospace & Defence division. A key aspect of this role is participating in Software Integration, Verification, and Validation (IV&V;)

activities for safety-critical avionics systems in the Aerospace & Defence sector. The selected candidate will be trained as a Test Engineer and will be involved in developing test cases and automation solutions to ensure compliance with aeronautical certification standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute integration and unit test cases for safety-critical embedded systems;
- Develop automated test sequences using C/C++ or Simulink;
- Participate in software integration activities;
- Prepare technical documentation;
- Analyze flight test and test rig results for aeronautical certification purposes.

Required Skills

- Understanding of the operating principles of avionics systems.

Preferred Technical Skills

- Knowledge of at least one structured programming language, such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, Visual Basic, Ada95, or similar;
- Familiarity with real-time embedded systems.





The ideal candidate should also demonstrate a structured approach to solving complex problems, flexibility and adaptability, strong teamwork skills, a good command of English, and an interest in software development.

Education Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering or Computer Engineering/Computer Science.

This position is offered as a 6-month extracurricular internship , with a gross monthly allowance of €1,000 .
