ppWe are looking for a motivated MBD Engineer to join our Software Design team. You will be responsible for the design, development, and validation of control software for complex automotive systems and advanced mobility projects. /p pThe role focuses on applying model-based methodologies to ensure the reliability and performance of embedded systems, facilitating the integration of model-centric workflows into the full software development lifecycle. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liModel-Based Development: Design and develop application logic and control algorithms using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow following the V-cycle process. /li liSoftware Generation Build: Manage automatic code generation (C/C++) via Embedded Coder, including the development of scripts and toolchain-based build processes. /li liVerification Validation: Execute comprehensive testing activities, including Unit testing, Model-in-the-Loop (MIL), and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) to ensure logic correctness. /li liStandardization Automation: Develop and rollout standardized software tools and processes (using Python or MATLAB scripting) to automate development and continuous integration. /li liCross-functional Collaboration: Support board bring-up and debugging activities in collaboration with hardware and electronic engineering teams. /li liRequirements Analysis: Analyze system requirements and translate them into executable models and robust test cases. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liEducation:
Master's degree in Mechatronics, Controls, Electrical, Software Engineering, or a related field. /li liProfessional Experience: 3+ years of experience in model-based design /li liToolchain Proficiency: Expert knowledge of the MathWorks suite (Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded Coder, Simulink Data Dictionary). /li liE-Mobility/Powertrain: Proven track record in control systems in the e-mobility field, covering Torque structure, powerflow arbitration and HV components management /li liLanguages: Fluent English. /li /ul h3Preferred Skills (Nice To Have) /h3 ul liEmbedded Software: — C proficiency /li liQuality Compliance: Knowledge of ASPICE, and coding standards(MISRA C). /li liScripting: Experience with Python or MATLAB for automation and scripting. /li liAUTOSAR: Familiarity with AUTOSAR architecture and configuring Simulink models for AUTOSAR compliance. /li liIndustry Standards: Solid understanding of ISO 26262 Functional Safety standards. /li liMethodology: Experience working within the automotive V-cycle. /li /ul h3Place of work: Torino /h3 p(Onsite) /p h3Salary: /h3 pBetween €34,000 and €40,000, depending on experience. /p h3Join us! /h3 pIf you want to work in a dynamic, innovative, and growth-oriented environment, Kineton is the right place for you.
