Tasks

- Lead the site Food Safety Team and continuously improve Quality, HACCP, and Environmental Management Systems

- Ensure compliance with food law, GMP, customer requirements, and relevant standards

- Lead internal, customer, supplier, and regulatory audits

- Manage customer complaints, supplier quality issues, deviations, and CAPA processes

- Lead and develop the Quality Control team and laboratory operations

- Drive quality performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives

- Ensure effective document control, training, hygiene, sanitation, and pest control programs

- Coordinate supplier qualification, evaluation, and audit activities

- Prepare management reviews and support quality-related strategic decisions

- Reporting Line to the Site Manager Italy. Functional alignment with Global Quality

- Travel: Occasional travel to customers, suppliers, and company locations within the group

Profile description

Skills

- Master’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Biotechnology, or related field

- 5-10 years of experience in quality and food safety management within the food manufacturing industry,



including leadership responsibilities.

- Strong knowledge of Food Law, HACCP, GMP, and Quality Management Systems

- Experience with FSSC 22000, IFS, BRCGS, or other GFSI-recognized food safety standards and with ISO 14001

- Experience with audits, quality control, and supplier management

- Proven experience leading, developing, and motivating teams in a manufacturing environment

- Fluent Italian and very good command of English/ technical English, written and spoken

- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Team-oriented and collaborative mindset

- Proactive and solution-focused approach

- High level of accountability and reliability
