Senior) Underwriter MarineApplyremote type: Hybridlocations: Milan, Italytime type: Sompo has a unique opportunity for an experienced (Senior) Marine Underwriter in our Milan office.Within our growing Italian Team, this role will work closely with the Head of Marine Underwriting for Italy making a significant contribution to the growth and expansion of our Marine portfolio. Support the positioning of Sompo as an increasingly significant player in the local Marine market• Assist in the optimization of the Marine portfolio• Innovate and contribute to the development of a forward-thinking local underwriting strategy• Establish and strengthen relationships with key brokers• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to fuel growth• Support the development of Marine products• Collaborate on defined projects in a growing and friendly team• Foster a culture of innovation by actively sharing ideas within the Continental Europe Marine community What you’ll bring:• 5+ years of professional experience• Proven track record in underwriting profitable businesses• Excellent networking and relationships skills with clients and brokers• Sound knowledge of the local Marine market• Understanding of multinational Programs• Analytical and critical thinking, self-motivation, creativity, flexibility, determination, discipline, proactivity, collaboration• Mindset to prioritize and plan to achieve objectives• Ability to build and enhance strong relationships,
