At Crealis Group, we are shaping the future of closures and packaging solutions through innovation, industrial excellence, and global collaboration. We are looking for a Senior R&D; Engineer to join our Capsules Business Unit, playing a key role in delivering new product solutions from concept to industrial validation.
The role is based in Bodio Lomnago (VA).
Your Mission
Drive product innovation and ensure disciplined, execution-focused R&D; activities - delivering robust, scalable solutions across our global industrial footprint.
What You'll Do
- Lead innovation and customer-driven development projects from concept to industrial validation
- Apply structured Innovation & Product Development processes (stage-gate approach)
- Ensure clear documentation, milestone tracking, and project progression
- Evaluate industrial feasibility (materials, processes, product solutions)
- Coordinate validation plans (mechanical, environmental, durability testing)
- Identify technical risks and contribute to mitigation strategies
- Support root cause analysis when needed
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, and Operations teams
- Ensure alignment across multiple international sites
- Provide structured reporting to Group R&D;
Who You Are
- Degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Chemical Engineering
- 5–9 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience in product innovation and development projects
- Strong project management skills (planning, coordination, execution)
- Experience with multi-component industrial products
- Comfortable working in cross-functional and international environments
- Fluent in English and Italian, other languages would be an asset
Salary package: CCNL Gomma Plastica, €40.000 -€50.000
