ph3Job Description Summary /h3 pThe Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing direct and indirect procurement activities in support of shop operations, including equipment, tools, services, and direct materials. This role ensures procurement policy compliance, supports supplier management and PO execution, and helps establish efficient procurement processes for the operation. /p pIn the initial setup phase, the position will also support material management activities related to ERP transactions, logistics coordination, and material flow. /p pThis role reports to the Site Materials Logistics Manager and is intended to be performed on‑site. /p h3Job Description /h3 h3Essential Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage direct and indirect procurement activities to support shop operations and business needs. /li liPlace and follow up on purchase orders, ensuring timely execution and delivery. /li liEnsure full compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and approval requirements. /li liManage supplier relationships for PO execution, delivery scheduling, issue resolution, and ERP updates. /li liSupport negotiation with suppliers to achieve the best commercial and contractual conditions while meeting business requirements. /li liWork with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with technical specifications, budgets, and project timelines. /li liSupport the setup and standardization of procurement processes for the new repair shop operation. /li liProvide guidance to functional teams on procurement processes, policies, and procurement‑related topics. /li liCoordinate with cross‑functional teams to support smooth operational startup and new technology introduction. /li liBuild effective working relationships with suppliers and internal teams to ensure continuity, compliance, and operational readiness. /li /ul h3Qualifications / Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree from an accredited university. /li liMinimum 2 years of experience in procurement. /li liStrong knowledge of Oracle ERP. /li liStrong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. /li liAbility to lead initiatives and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. /li liStrong collaboration skills and ability to work across functions. /li liFluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken. /li /ul h3Desired Characteristics /h3 ul liExperience in aviation, oil and gas, or a comparable industrial repair environment. /li liFamiliarity with repair shop operations, material transactions, and logistics processes.
