Main Purpose of the role
The Group RDQ Quality & Food Safety Manager will work closely with R&D;, Legal, Regulatory, Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Marketing, IT and/or other relevant business functions to ensure alignment of the overall project objectives. He/she is hereafter responsible for execution and implementation of quality and food safety programs globally.
The Group RDQ Quality & Food Safety Manager will report to the Group RDQ Quality Director and will work in an exciting international environment with global reach.
What you will do
- Support the development and improvement of Perfetti Van Melle QMS policies
- Ensure compliance with international and local food regulations as well as customers requirements
- Lead internal and external audits; coordinate corrective and preventive actions plan
- Define and roll out Global Business Policies, Standards and Guidelines
- Coordinate quality programs in the field of digitalization, sustainability and quality control.
- Ensure proper implementation and deployment of new standards and systems
- Support non conformity or consumer complains investigation and resolution
- Drive Quality and food safety culture
- Regular business travel ca. 25% average
Our Perfect Candidate
- You have a degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry and/or related areas
- You have 5 - 8 years’ experience in a Quality and/or Food Safety Organisation in a global food industry company
- Experience in one or more of the following areas is a must: Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Food Safety, QMS (Quality Management Systems), food manufacturing quality, quality and food safety standards, quality and food safety certification systems, crisis and recall management, consumer complaint management, quality and food safety audits, HACCP, risk management, GMP, food manufacturing hygiene
- Strong knowledge of FSSC 22000, BRC, or SQF standards
- You have a continuous improvement mindset and can challenge status quo
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to drive impactful processes, work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders
The position offers a gross annual salary starting from €65,000. Additional compensation and company benefits may also apply and will be discussed and defined during the selection process and on an individual basis
