Palazzo Preca began as a dream for the Preca family to revive one of Valletta’s historic treasures. When they discovered the 16th-century palazzo, its timeless charm inspired them to create a fine dining restaurant celebrating Malta’s culinary heritage. The family carefully restored the building’s authentic architecture, crafting an elegant and welcoming ambiance.
From the start, Palazzo Preca was designed as more than a restaurant—it was envisioned as an experience where family, food, and culture come together. Today, it is beloved by both locals and visitors for its warm service, exquisite dishes, and dedication to quality. Each plate tells a part of the family’s story, celebrating their love for food and Malta’s rich history.
With a passion for exceptional cuisine, the Preca family developed a menu that showcases Mediterranean and Maltese flavours, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Guests can enjoy handmade pasta, premium cuts of steak, traditional stuffed rabbit, and the freshest daily catch. The homemade desserts are a highlight, and when available, the flambe station offers a unique tableside experience.
