Serving food for over twenty years, the restaurant has recently been refurbished and expanded under new management, offering a fresh yet familiar experience. Guests can dine al fresco in the spacious St John’s Square, shaded by large umbrellas in summer and sheltered by clear side panels and heating in cooler months — making outdoor dining a pleasure all year-round.

Its generous layout makes San Giovanni an excellent choice for stunning private events and large gatherings. Adding to the atmosphere, live music fills the square daily, creating the perfect backdrop for memorable meals.

San Giovanni offers a full menu of cocktails, wines, and beautifully crafted dishes, and it’s best known for its exceptional pizza — with a paper-thin base, pillowy crust, and irresistible gourmet toppings. The menu also features perfectly al dente pasta and fresh, succulent fish dishes. Begin your meal with scallops au gratin, served in their shells on elegant, patterned plates, before moving on to the rich paccheri with local prawns, pistachio pesto, prawn bisque and pistacchio granules.
