What We Are Looking For:
The HR Coordinator – International Projects is a key contributor within the Human Resources function, responsible for coordinating and driving HR initiatives across multiple countries. The role ensures consistency, alignment, and effective implementation of global HR policies and processes, supporting organizational growth and acting as a strategic link between Headquarters, local HR teams, and international stakeholders.
Position Purpose To provide integrated and structured coordination of international HR processes, contributing to organizational effectiveness, employee experience, and regulatory compliance, with a comprehensive, end-to-end perspective on the HR function.
Key Activities:
International HR Project Coordination
- Lead and coordinate cross-country HR projects (e.g. set-up and development of local HR structures,
roll-out of global HR policies, process harmonization initiatives).
- Plan and manage project timelines, priorities, risks, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Act as a central point of contact between HQ, local HR teams, external consultants, and international partners.
Core HR Activities
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: support and coordinate international hiring strategies, including selection processes and onboarding activities.
- Learning & Development: contribute to the design, implementation, and monitoring of training programs and leadership development initiatives.
- Performance Management: support performance review cycles, talent assessment, and development processes.
- Compensation & Benefits: support the definition and governance of compensation and benefits frameworks aligned with local market practices and internal equity.
- Employee Relations: support the management of employee relations and day-to-day HR matters across different geographies.
Policies, Processes, and Compliance
- Ensure effective deployment and consistent application of global HR policies and procedures across all countries of operation.
- Monitor compliance with local labor laws and regulations, in collaboration with legal advisors and payroll providers.
- Support internal and external audits, as well as HR governance and reporting requirements.
Strategic Support and HR Reporting
- Prepare and consolidate international HR reporting (KPIs, headcount, workforce costs, turnover, etc.).
- Provide qualitative and quantitative analysis to support leadership decision-making.
- Contribute to change management initiatives, organizational design, and continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Work or Organizational Psychology, or related fields.
- 4–6 years of experience in HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or similar roles.
- Proven experience in managing international HR projects and working in multi-country or matrix organizations.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end HR processes.
- Good knowledge of international labor laws and HR best practices.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS, HR analytics, and reporting tools.
- Strong organizational and coordination capabilities, with a global mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in multicultural and cross-functional environments.
- Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach.
- Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities and projects.
- Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are a strong advantage.
