Blue Oak Consulting is looking for a Graduate Frontend Developer to help us build internal tools and client-facing dashboards. This position supports our ongoing work with an Italian financial services firm, where you will translate complex financial datasets into clear, interactive web interfaces.

About Blue Oak Consulting Blue Oak Consulting provides independent advisory on pricing, portfolio economics, capital allocation, and acquisition assumptions. We are not a traditional consulting firm focused on broad transformation programs or high level strategy decks.

Instead, we interrogate specific commercial decisions where the financial stakes are high and the existing narrative is not sufficient. Our team looks past corporate language and P&L; complexity to identify where value is leaking or capital is trapped. We work across sectors like software, manufacturing, and healthcare to test whether the assumptions behind a growth plan or an acquisition actually hold under pressure.

The Role In this role, you will be part of a team that values technical clarity over visual fluff. Because we work with high-stakes financial data, our frontend needs to be reliable, fast, and easy to navigate.

You will work in a fully remote environment,



collaborating with our financial analysts to understand the logic behind our models and then figuring out the best way to present that logic to a client. This is an entry-level position where you will be expected to learn quickly and take ownership of specific UI components. You will spend your time writing clean code and ensuring that the data visualizations we provide are accurate representations of the underlying economic realities we uncover.

What You Will Be Doing

- Developing and maintaining responsive web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue.
- Creating interactive data visualizations and charts to help clients understand pricing trends and capital allocation.
- Translating design wireframes and financial logic into high quality, functional code.
- Collaborating with our backend team to integrate APIs and ensure data consistency across the platform.
- Writing clean, documented, and reusable code modules for our internal library of tools.
- Testing applications for cross-browser compatibility and resolving performance bottlenecks.
- Participating in code reviews to ensure all technical work meets our internal standards for quality and security.
- Adjusting user interfaces based on direct feedback from the principals who use these tools with clients.

What You Bring

- A recent degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related technical field.
- Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript.




- Exposure to a frontend framework like React, Vue, or Angular through university projects or personal work.
- An interest in data visualization and how to present complex information simply.
- Strong attention to detail, specifically regarding layout, spacing, and typography.
- A logical mindset and the ability to think through how data flows from a server to a user interface.
- The ability to work independently in a remote setting while staying in close communication with a team.
- A willingness to learn about financial concepts to better understand the tools you are building.
