Compensation: €45,000 - €53,000 gross per annum, plus stock option plan

What you'll do
Collaborate closely with team members to implement new features, ensuring a smooth integration of code and sharing insights to foster a learning environment.
Uphold frontend design patterns and best practices to maintain a high standard of code quality across the platform.
Contribute to the technical roadmap aimed at creating a scalable, maintainable, and high-performance user interface.
Investigate and evaluate contemporary frontend technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance our development processes.
Design and develop scalable and modular systems that adapt to the changing requirements of the business.
Oversee the maintenance of production Node.js applications, utilizing observability tools and managing testing protocols effectively.
Apply performance optimization strategies, including lazy loading, code splitting, and caching techniques,
to improve application responsiveness.
Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and share best practices with peers.
Engage in UI/UX discussions to refine user experience and interface design.
Document technical specifications and maintain clear communication with cross-functional teams.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to continually improve our frontend capabilities.
Requirements A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in frontend development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality web applications.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with extensive experience using React and state management libraries such as Tanstack Query.
Familiarity with component libraries like Storybook, Headless UI, or Tailwind CSS, and an active role in UI/UX discussions.
Knowledge of modern frontend build systems, including Vite, Rollup, or Nx/Turborepo.
A solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets to facilitate seamless data communication.
Experience with observability and logging tools such as Grafana, Cloudwatch, or Logstash to monitor application performance.
Proven experience in maintaining unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software reliability.
Nice to have
Familiarity with functional programming principles that can enhance code efficiency and readability.
Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities.
Knowledge of accessibility best practices to ensure our applications are usable by everyone.

Proficient in TypeScript and React
Familiar with TanStack Query, Zustand, and Jotai for state management
Experienced with Tailwind CSS, Radix UI, and Base UI for styling
Knowledgeable in Zod, fp-ts, and effect for functional programming
Proficient in GraphQL, Next.js, and TanStack Start for building modern applications
Familiar with PostgreSQL for database management
Experienced with AWS services, including Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, CodeBuild, and CodePipeline
Proficient in using GitHub Actions for CI/CD processes
Familiar with testing frameworks such as Vitest, React Testing Library, and Playwright
Knowledgeable in monitoring tools like Sentry and Kibana
