Job Overview Medicasa Italia S.P.A.—established in 1993—specialises in the design and delivery of Home Assistance Services (ADI). The company operates throughout Italy through 15 Operations Centres and over 1,500 collaborators. Medicasa’s mission is to take care and treat patients at home with expertise, ethics, and devotion, developing services that are increasingly close to each patient’s needs.Responsibilities
- Provide general physiotherapy assistance in response to the health problems of Medicasa’s patients.
- Design and implement autonomously or in collaboration with other healthcare professionals interventions for prevention, treatment and rehabilitation in domains of motility, upper cortical functions, and visceral aspects related to pathological events.
- Ensure patient health education and support the patient’s active participation in therapeutic decision‑making.
- Carry out specific, autonomous, and complementary physiotherapy interventions—technical, relational, and educational—in line with the activities described in the PAI.
- Apply assistance activities tailored to patients’ age, gender, health condition, physical and psychological fragility, and cultural, religious, ethnic, and linguistic particularities.
- Thely practice international guidelines and Medicasa’s procedures.
- Ensure proper use and storage of materials and devices provided by Medicasa at the patient’s home.
- Identify assistance goals, monitor clinical outcomes, and maintain accurate medical and administrative documentation using the computerized clinical file.
- Identify signs and symptoms and detect potential risk factors in clinical situations.
- Adhere to professional legal responsibilities and act in accordance with professional ethics and the Code of Deontology.
- Prepare periodic health reports and additional reports as requested by the health area.
- Participate in meetings organised by the central operational office and health districts.
- Continuously update professional knowledge by obtaining ECM credits as required by national regulations.
- Participate in training courses organised by Medicasa.
Qualifications
- University degree in rehabilitation health professions.
- Membership in the appropriate technical health professionals order of rehabilitation and prevention, with ECM credits regularly updated.
