We are currently seeking

SPECIALIST EXPORT AND VEHICLE CERTIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

The duties involve both international document management and vehicle technical approval. This automotive niche requires both commercial and linguistic skills as well as technical expertise.

- Degree in Languages, International Economics, Law, or Management Engineering. Alternatively, a technical/economic high school with solid experience in the role;
- At least 5/6 years' experience in the same role in structured, organized companies with a strong focus on the national and international market, operating in the automotive sector, international shipping, and car procedures;
- Fluent English;
- Mastery of Incoterms 2020, customs clearance procedures and tariff classification (HS codes);
- In-depth knowledge of import/export regulations, insurance and customs permits;
- Familiarity with vehicle data sheets, vehicle identification numbers (VINs) and emissions/safety regulations;
- Dynamic, proactive, curious, eclectic person;
- Ability to interact with customers with excellent professionalism; good organizational and methodological skills;
- Management of priorities and independent planning of time based on deadlines;
- Precision in document management, strong problem solving skills and confidentiality (management of VIP clients);




- Ambition for professional growth through ongoing professional development and training; excellent standing;
- Flexibility in managing multiple tasks at the same time;
- Motivation and determination, autonomy, problem solving;
- Good knowledge of the Office package and possibly other management software;
- Based in Milan or fully available to relocate.

Key Responsibilities:

- Management of customs procedures: compilation and control of export documents (e.g. customs declarations, EUR1, ATA Carnet for exhibitions);
- Approval of unique vehicles: management of the testing process for one-off vehicles (E-Mark, national or European approvals);
- Ongoing coordination with the Civil Motorization Office (CPA), the Ministry of Transport, and certification bodies; management of the bureaucratic process at the Motorization Office (UMC) for issuing the first registration document following successful testing by the CPA (Vehicle Test Center), entering specific approval codes and any granted exemptions into the system;
- Management and allocation of company test plates for road testing of prototypes prior to homologation, or request for temporary plates (customs plates) for the export of vehicles not yet registered;




- Management of the process with ACI and the Motor Vehicle Department to reactivate the original license plates and registration documents of the period for vehicles that had previously been officially deregistered or demolished in the registers, preserving the historical value of the vehicle;
- Management of complex ownership transfers involving foreign holding companies, trusts or international sales contracts (Bill of Sale) that require legalization of documents (Apostille) and sworn translations;
- Logistics coordination: organization of the safe transport of high-value vehicles (flatbed services, dedicated containers, air shipments);
- ATA Temporary Export Procedures: manage the bureaucracy for vehicles sent abroad only for concours d'elegance (e.g. Pebble Beach), film shoots or winter tests, ensuring their return to Italy without paying duties;
- Troubleshooting delivery, customs or transportation issues;
- Support for private customers or foreign dealers throughout the customs clearance and local registration phase;
- Monitoring competitor and market activities, anticipating changes and sharing any opportunities with the company.
