The AI Tools Associate supports our advisory work by evaluating how automated systems can improve our analysis of complex financial datasets. In this role, you will work closely with our team as we advise a European infrastructure firm on their capital allocation and commercial assumptions.

The Role
As an AI Tools Associate, you will help our principals integrate practical automation into our rigorous financial review process. This is a fully remote position that requires a mix of technical curiosity and financial literacy. You will not be building complex models from scratch,
but rather testing how various AI applications can help us parse dense documentation and financial reports more effectively.
Our work for the European infrastructure firm involves heavy data review, and your role is to ensure our tools are helping us reach the truth rather than obscuring it. This role is a tempo pieno, permanent position designed for someone starting their career in financial analysis or business operations.
What You Will Be
Doing
Testing AI tools to see if they accurately summarize financial assumptions in large infrastructure contracts.
Running comparative tests between human led data entry and automated data extraction to identify errors.
Organizing large sets of financial data from our European infrastructure partner to prepare them for deeper economic analysis.
Maintaining a database of prompts and workflows that help our team find specific financial clauses in long legal documents.
Reviewing the outputs of AI models to ensure they align with the actual numbers in a P&L; or balance sheet.
Collaborating with senior principals to document where automation fails to capture the nuance of a commercial decision.
Assisting in the preparation of reports that challenge conventional growth narratives using data backed findings.
What You
Bring A degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field with a strong interest in how technology changes data analysis.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel,
including a comfort level with formulas and organizing structured data.
A skeptical mindset that does not take automated or AI generated answers at face value.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English to explain technical findings to team members.
The ability to work independently in a remote setting while staying coordinated with a small team.
An interest in learning about the economics of large scale infrastructure projects and how capital is allocated.
High attention to detail when comparing different versions of a financial document or a data set.
