ph3About This Role /h3 pFor near retirement Commercial Pilots, becoming a Synthetic Flight Instructor will be a highly rewarding and satisfying transition.
Drawing on your expert knowledge of Airbus A330/A350 systems, you will lead and mentor clients through their training, enabling them to achieve training objectives.

/p h3Role and Responsibilities /h3 ul liProvide simulator/flight instruction on one single type rating for the issuance of licenses, type rating and certificates or provide ground school instruction in class.
/li liConduct pre and post?flight simulator briefings in a thorough, professional manner and in accordance with CAE standards.
/li liComplete required administrative duties (training records, recommend remedial training when necessary, track instructional qualifications, etc.).
/li liParticipate in the creation of curricula and courseware when required.
/li liWork 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays depending on the course schedule, sharing the workload with the whole team of instructors.
/li liTravel to other CAE offices may be required.
/li /ul h3The Role We Are Offering You /h3 ul liWork with airline client partners to provide high?quality synthetic training on A330/A350 platforms.
/li liDeliver classroom tuition including briefings, debriefings and simulator details; other classroom?based training may be required at times.
/li liWrite concise, timely and accurate reports, and maintain up?to?date trainee records.
/li liFlag areas of deficiency and develop recovery plans including remedial training.
/li /ul h3You Will Need /h3 ul liEASA – SFI certificate with A330/A350 Type Rating.




/li liA true passion for instructing with a strong background in training.
/li liAn adaptable personality, with the ability to work with others to achieve the best outcomes.
/li liExcellent communication skills.
/li liExcellent client focus.
/li liAttention to detail, administration, and the ability to maintain accurate records using MS Office.
/li liEU Passport or the right to live and work within the EU.
/li liExcellent English, as you will work with international students.
/li /ul h3Desirable Qualities /h3 ul liIdeally based in Italy; applications from EU?based candidates are also welcome.
/li liFlight instructor certificate is valued.
/li liPrevious A330/A350 instructional experience as a Line Training Captain, TRI, or TRE.
/li liExisting instructor qualification (A330/A350) or a rating issued by a regulatory authority is desirable.
