Category Procurement Manager Location: Suzhou, CN Purpose of the job: This position is to analyze and prepare all sourcing and supply chain activities for a designated commodity area (Panel, LCM), which a.o. entail search and selection, reduction of supply risk, contracting, management of supply sources in order to maximize performance with minimum total cost of ownership.
Enabling early supplier involvement by working closely together with all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain sourcing commodity strategy in line with the global procurement strategy.
Perform all sourcing actions with excellent knowledge on product, supply market, its players and contracting techniques.
Investigate, select, develop and optimally manage sources of supplies in order to minimize supply risk and total cost of ownership.
Familiar with issuing bid requests and reviewing quotations.
Full ownership (on all levels and subjects) of the relationship between Barco and the supplier.
Supplier KPI performance management.
Negotiate contracts between Barco and suppliers in order to maximize value for Barco (price, flexibility, risk, product advantage, etc.) Engage a close co-operation with R
