Furthermore, the Associate Accountant ensures the timely and accurate preparation of accounts, calculations, and daily delivery of high-quality services to a portfolio of assigned clients.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting entriesEnsure compliance with VAT principlesCalculation of monthly withholding taxPreparation of tax returnsCalculation of Italian Municipal Property Taxes (IMU,
TASI)Create queries and reports on payroll dataPrepare simple financial reports or support a Senior Associate Accountant in preparing complex financial reportsEscalate relevant queries to more senior team membersSupport and manage client and internal requests in a timely mannerKey RequirementsIntermediate knowledge of English (B2)Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)Knowledge of the Profis system is considered a plusHigh school diploma and/or degree in EconomicsUp to 5 years' experience in similar organizationsWork in compliance with company procedures and related standardsStrong client service skills and the ability to meet required deadlinesOrganized and accountable approach to workEnsure that all accounting procedures remain aligned with applicable laws and organizational objectivesStrong communication skillsKnowledge of accounting and budget accountsOperational knowledge of VAT and other corporate taxation mattersUnderstanding of international financial/capital markets and financial instrumentsUnderstanding of regulatory requirements for companies in Italy (statutory deadlines, filing requirements, etc.)Goal-oriented mindset (both individual and team goals)Commitment to qualityProblem-solving approachContribute to team success as a team memberAct with integrityWhat's in it for you?
