Overviewthe department of programmes manages and coordinates idlo's global programme portfolio. the programme coordinator supports the implementation of programmes and projects from the headquarters.primary functionssupport day-to-day programme implementation, work planning, budget management, monitoring and reporting, ensuring alignment with project design and idlo procedures.coordinate information flow between idlo units and offices.develop implementation plans using standard tools (logic models, work plans, etc.).monitor implementation issues, propose corrective actions and ensure quality controls.draft, collate and contribute to internal and external reports.coordinate approval and submission of programme reports.collaborate with finance unit on financial forecasts, reporting and budget issues.monitor compliance with contracts, procedures and quality standards.work with evaluation unit to facilitate programme evaluations.conduct research on legal, political, social and economic trends relevant to programmes.support programme design and development,



generate ideas and contribute to proposals.job requirementsadvanced university degree in international development, law, public administration, business administration, public policy or related social sciences.3-5 years of professional experience, preferably in an international organization.experience in capacity development and rule of law programming is an asset.fluent english; french highly preferred; additional languages advantageous.familiarity with programme and data management methodologies, results-based management, m&e; principles.excellent written and verbal communication skills.proficiency in microsoft word, excel, powerpoint and other ict tools.ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and travel to the region if needed.terms and conditions12-month affiliate contract with possible extension, based on performance and funding.annual basic salary eur 37 762 plus benefits (provident fund contribution, medical insurance, leave entitlements).equal opportunity employer; encourages applications from all backgrounds.
