Purpose of the role

The SAP Finance and Project Systems (FIPS) Specialist will be responsible for the successful implementation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP FIPS solutions. This role requires deep technical knowledge of SAP FIPS, and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to optimize financial processes.

The FIPS Specialist plays a pivotal role in the Information Systems organization,

working closely with business decision makers and end users to analyze information and document business requirements and map to SAP business processes.

The FIPS Specialist supports change management activities related to projects, upgrades, and enhancements, communicating changes and benefits to stakeholders to promote adoption and ensure minimal disruption to operations.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
- SAP Certification
- Minimum 5 years of experience with expert knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA Finance
- Minimum 5 years of experience with expert knowledge of Project Systems, Fiori apps and at least 3 full cycle implementations

Skills and Experience:
- Strong expertise in SAP Project System (PS) for capital projects within the mining industry, including integration with key SAP modules such as FI/CO, EAM (PM), and MM.
