The team is committed to maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, operational performance and customer service while delivering cost-effective solutions for the City.

About the role

As the Coordinator Fleet Maintenance and Fabrication, you will lead and manage the City's Fleet Workshop teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient and cost-effective maintenance and fabrication services.

You will provide operational leadership, oversee compliance and risk management requirements, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure fleet assets remain safe, reliable and fit for purpose.

Key responsibilities include:
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing maintenance, fleet,



workshop, engineering or operational teams.
- Leading Fleet Maintenance and Fabrication operations to achieve operational objectives, performance targets and key performance indicators.
- Managing workshop teams and resources to deliver safe, efficient and customer-focused services.
- Providing oversight of fleet asset maintenance, modifications and fabrication activities.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and standards, including TORUM, Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) and workplace safety requirements.
- Monitoring performance, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing initiatives that enhance operational outcomes.
- Managing business processes including staffing movements, secondments, recruitment requests, purchase approvals and workforce planning activities.
- Ensuring workplace incidents are appropriately recorded, investigated and managed through
