Maintenance Mechanical Technician

Location: Casalpusterlengo (Shift-Based Role)

The Role
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be part of the maintenance team, supporting the day-to-day operation of the plant. Reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and help improve reliability across the site.
You'll work closely with colleagues on shift, ensuring machinery is maintained, repaired, and ready to perform when it's needed most.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do




- Carry out routine, preventative, and breakdown maintenance on plant equipment
- Diagnose mechanical faults and identify the root cause of failures
- Dismantle, repair, and reassemble machinery and components
- Organise maintenance activities efficiently, including selecting and checking spare parts
- Propose practical improvement solutions and preventative measures to reduce downtime
- Complete maintenance records accurately using Maximo CMMS, including hours worked, parts used, and technical notes
- Support larger maintenance activities where multiple technicians are required
- Maintain tools, workshop equipment, and maintenance areas in good order
- Follow all site safety procedures, regulations, and safe working practices
- Use and store PPE correctly at all times

Qualifications
