Role overviewfield is expanding its renewable energy and battery storage portfolio in italy. the construction lead will manage transmission-connected bess projects from pre-construction through design, construction, commissioning and hand-over to operations, reporting to the direttore tecnico.key responsibilitiesmanage the pre-construction phase after planning or asset acquisition, leading the team to final investment decision (fid) with focus on programme and risks.coordinate with landowners, design team and procurement to ensure value-engineering opportunities and contractual compliance.prepare pre-construction information packs, early-works packages and key contractual documents.develop and own the project risk register, schedule and budget, aligning the whole team on actions and timelines.lead the construction phase, ensuring time, quality, budget and safety targets are met.manage construction contracts with bess suppliers, bop epc contractors, tso and other parties, protecting commercial interests.oversee commissioning, energisation and seamless transition to commercial operation.coordinate with commercial operations on revenue readiness and capacity market milestones.support procurement and asset-management integration,



and close out construction defects and final accounts.eventually assume line-management responsibility for other project managers, shaping workloads and career development.essential skills and experienceengineering master's degree or equivalent technical qualification.5-8 years of experience in similar roles, with delivery of at least two tso-connected renewable or bess projects.strong project leadership, documentation standards and use of project-management tools.proven ability to manage health, safety and quality, with knowledge of d.lgs. 81/08.commercial acumen and experience with various contract types.experience in pre-construction, construction site management and project finance due diligence.project-management certifications (e.g., pmp, prince2) are a plus.benefitsbase gross salary starting from €100,000, flexible according to experience.growth-shares stock-options scheme and performance-based premio.hybrid working (home and office) plus one month per year of work-from-anywhere.meal vouchers, complementary health insurance and pension scheme.2,000 € annual learning and development budget.paid leave for dependents and “green leave” for environmental initiatives.
