ph3About the Role /h3pPramac, a Generac Company, is looking for a Supply Planning Manager to join the Headquarters Team at our main manufacturing site in Casole d'Elsa.
The ideal candidate is proactive, highly analytical, and thrives on optimizing operations and driving supply chain efficiency.
/ph3Main Accountabilities /h3ulliStrategic Tactical Planning: Build short?term (up to 8 weeks) and medium?term (2–8 months) supply plans for the Power and BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) product categories.
/liliSupplier Management: Manage and optimize a complex, international portfolio of European and Non?European suppliers.
/liliTeam Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop the Material Planning Team (4 people).
/liliEnd?to?End Execution: Translate market demand into actionable purchase plans and issue purchase orders while balancing seasonality, MOQs, lead times, production capacity, and collection?related constraints to control costs.
/liliInventory Ownership: Own and deliver material targets for the Casole site, including Inventory Value, Coverage, DIOH (Days Inventory On Hand), Safety Stock sizing, and Master Data accuracy.
/liliPlan Continuity Operations: Take full ownership of the material plan and shortage mitigation, collaborating closely with Operations Planning and Production.
/liliFlow Project Monitoring: Manage both Make?to?Stock and Make?to?Order flows and monitor PECS projects in alignment with the SOP Manager through weekly cross?functional meetings with RD.
/liliContinuous Improvement: Identify supply risks (capacity bottlenecks, supplier delays, constraints), highlight systemic inefficiencies,



and propose initiatives to reduce wasted capacity.
/liliCross?Functional Alignment: Partner with SGS, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure timely plan execution and invoicing alignment.
/liliDigital Transformation: Lead implementation and optimization of IT planning systems, gather functional requirements, liaise with IT teams, and ensure effective user adoption.
/li /ulh3Role Requirements /h3ullibHard Skills Qualifications (Technical Requirements) /bulliMinimum 10 years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably within global industrial manufacturing companies, and at least 5 years of proven experience in team coordination and people management.
/liliERP BI Systems: Previous experience or solid working knowledge of Oracle environments (or equivalent tier?1 ERPs) and business intelligence tools.
/liliSoftware Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in MS Office with expert?level skills in Excel for data modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
/liliEducation: Master's degree in Engineering (Management/Industrial preferred), Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
/liliLanguages: Fluency in English (written and spoken)
