An international energy storage technology provider is seeking an experienced renewable energy sales professional to join its growing European commercial team in Italy. This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial and commercially driven individual to play a key role in expanding the company's presence across the energy storage market.
Reporting to the European sales leadership team, the successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and deliver energy storage projects across the region.

Key Objectives Include
Presenting, promoting and selling the company's energy storage solutions to prospective and existing customers.
Identifying and developing new business opportunities within target markets.
Increasing market share, revenue growth, customer acquisition and overall profitability.
Building long-term partnerships with customers and industry stakeholders.
Duties And Responsibilities
Identify and originate new opportunities for energy storage solutions.
Develop technical and commercial proposals for customers.
Capture customer requirements, collaborate with solution and sales engineering teams to complete the financial and preliminary site design, deliver compelling offers for key customers.
Lead commercial negotiations and support the successful closure of Develop and execute account strategies for key customers and partners.
Build strong relationships with developers, EPC contractors, utilities, IPPs,
asset owners and other key stakeholders.
Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, conferences and professional forums.
Support wider business development activities across the region.
Maintain a strong understanding of energy market dynamics, competitive activity and customer requirements.
Identify market opportunities and contribute to business case development.
Communicate market intelligence and customer feedback to internal stakeholders.
Support the development of go-to-market strategies for new products and solutions.
Requirements
Proven sales, business development or commercial experience within the energy sector.
Experience within renewable energy such as solar PV or BESS.
Demonstrated track record of securing new business and closing complex commercial opportunities.
Experience managing relationships with developers, EPC contractors, independent power producers (IPPs), utilities, investors or asset owners.
Strong commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to develop strategic sales plans and execute against ambitious growth targets.
Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building capabilities.
Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and highly driven, with a proactive approach to generating new business opportunities.
Comfortable working independently within a remote and international environment.
Strong understanding of technical and commercial energy solutions.
Willingness to travel regularly throughout the region.
Fluent in Italian
