SUMMARY OF ROLE
The qualified candidate will join the design and development engineering team located in Cinisello Balsamo (MI), where he will work on projects related to power converters, mainly on the implementation of control algorithms, analysis and resolution of related problems, including simulation, design and tests.
PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Development of control and protection algorithms and firmware for power converters.
- Modeling and simulation for the development of controls.
- Requirements analysis and translation into technical specifications.
- Firmware implementation, testing and troubleshooting.
- Software maintenance and identification of improvements / corrective actions.
- Hardware integration support.
- Participation in environmental tests.
- Collaboration with the factory to support the construction and testing of products

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- At least 2 years of work experience
- Master's degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Experience in the use of simulation software (MATLAB, Simulink, Coder)
- Experience, in the role, gained in companies operating in the programming, design and production of microprocessor boards
- Experience in programming embedded systems using C / C ++.
- Knowledge of inverter for Active Front End applications (grid side)
- Familiarity with reading and drawing electrical and electronic diagrams
- Knowledge of the English language for the preparation of documentation.
- Knowledge of the main IT applications (MS Office).
Salary range: 40.000-45.000€
