ppAt IT Labs, we are looking for a hands?on Deployment Engineer to support one of the most exciting companies in the AI and engineering space.
/p pOur client is building a next?generation platform that combines AI, simulation, and high?performance computing to help engineers design everything from aircraft and cars to semiconductors and energy systems faster and more intelligently.
Their technology allows customers to simulate and optimize complex products in software using AI?powered digital models.
/p pIn this role, you will work directly with customer engineering teams to deploy and support Kubernetes?based environments across AWS, Azure, and on?premise infrastructure.
The role is highly technical, customer?facing, focused on troubleshooting, deployment, and solving complex infrastructure challenges.
/p h3What You'll Do /h3 ul liWork directly with customers to understand their infrastructure, Kubernetes, networking, and security setup /li liLead technical discovery and deployment?readiness discussions /li liDeploy and troubleshoot solutions in: ul liAWS EKS /li liAzure AKS /li liOn?prem Kubernetes environments /li liOpenShift, Rancher, or vanilla Kubernetes /li /ul /li liUse Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes operators to install and configure the platform /li liTroubleshoot issues such as: ul liPods stuck in Pending/CrashLoopBackOff /li liFirewall and networking issues /li liFailed image pulls /li liResource and scaling limitations /li liCluster configuration problems /li /ul /li liSupport deployments in restricted and air?gapped environments /li liWork with product and platform teams to report issues, create workarounds,
and improve the product /li liSupport customers after deployment and resolve ongoing infrastructure issues /li liHelp improve documentation, onboarding, and deployment best practices /li liOccasionally travel to customer sites when needed /li /ul h3Required Skills /h3 ul liStrong hands?on Kubernetes experience in production environments /li liStrong AWS experience, especially EKS and customer?owned AWS accounts /li liStrong Terraform experience /li liExperience with Helm and Kubernetes operators /li liGood understanding of: ul liNetworking /li liFirewalls /li liVPCs and subnets /li liDNS, ingress, and routing /li liSecurity restrictions and access control /li /ul /li liExperience troubleshooting complex deployment and infrastructure issues /li liExperience working directly with customers in a technical role /li liStrong communication skills /li liSelf?starter mindset and ability to work with limited documentation and onboarding /li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ul liAzure AKS /li liOpenShift or Rancher /li liArgo CD /li liAWS GovCloud /li liAir?gapped environments /li liGPU / AI workload experience /li liNVIDIA GPU Operator /li liCrossplane /li liExperience in regulated or high?security environments /li /ul h3What to Expect /h3 ul liFast onboarding and early involvement in customer calls /li liA lot of troubleshooting and problem solving /li liCustomer?facing technical communication, not project management /li liWork across different customer environments and technologies /li liOccasional short?notice travel may happen /li /ul h3Working Conditions /h3 ul li12?month contract with possibility for extension /li liFull?time, 40h/week /li liContract or B2B arrangement /li liPTO provided /li liBackground check required /li /ul /p #J-*****-Ljbffr
