Role Overview

As a home physiotherapist, you will provide general physiotherapy assistance to patients under Medicasa’s care, design and implement preventive, curative and rehabilitative interventions, and promote patient education and active participation in therapeutic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Guarantee general physiotherapy assistance in response to patients’ health issues.
- Develop and carry out autonomous or collaborative interventions in prevention, care, and rehabilitation covering motor skills, cortical functions, and visceral functions related to pathologic, congenital, or acquired conditions.
- Ensure patient education and support active participation in therapeutic decision-making.
- Implement specific, autonomous, and complementary physiotherapy interventions aligned with PAI activities.
- Adapt care to patients’ age, gender, health status, physical/psychological fragility,



and cultural or linguistic specifics.
- Promote clinical education, use of provided materials and devices, and correct storage in patients’ homes.
- Identify and plan care objectives and monitor clinical outcomes.
- Maintain accurate health and administrative documentation using the electronic clinical record.
- Detect signs and symptoms related to the clinical situation, identify risk factors.
- Adhere to legal professional responsibilities, ethical principles, and the Code of Ethics.
- Prepare periodic health reports and, when requested, reports for health authorities.
- Participate in meetings organized by the central operation, districts, and health areas.
- Continuously update professional knowledge, acquiring ECM credits as required by national regulations.
- Attend training courses organized by Medicasa.

Qualifications

- Degree in Rehabilitation Health Sciences.
- Registration with the relevant technical health professional orders for rehabilitation and prevention, with ECM credits in accordance with regulations.
