Your Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership for Alpitronic's power electronics development
Develop new generation power electronics, such as new switching topologies, introduction of new power semiconductors and new gate driver circuits
Develop innovative and cost-optimised power electronics, maximising power density (power semiconductors, magnetics and capacitors)
Lead the debugging of newly developed power electronic boards and assemblies
Lead field return analyses for power electronics
Your Qualifications & Skills
PhD in electronics or electronic engineering
Extensive work experience in power electronics
Excellent knowledge of power electronics, especially SiC technology (GaN would be an advantage)
Deep knowledge of different converter topologies for active rectifiers (AC-DC) and for isolated/non-isolated converters (DC/DC)
Strong expertise in the design of passive components (chokes, transformers) including pulse pattern optimisation
Excellent knowledge in the implementation of analogue/digital measurement circuits for power electronics (in particular: voltage,
current and temperature measurement in combination with fast switching converters)

Total compensation starting from € 97,000 gross per year, including a 30% variable premio based on goal achievement
