What To Expect
In this exciting and diverse role, you will strengthen our multidisciplinary team in the design, analysis, and validation of high-voltage battery functions with a focus on fast charging and battery aging for electric vehicles. You will contribute to the development of robust charging strategies and lifetime-oriented battery concepts from simulation through validation.
Enhancing simulation and aging models for lithium-ion batteries and fast-charging processes
Developing algorithms and deriving functional measures to optimize charging performance, battery lifetime, and operating strategies
Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to create functionally consistent battery system designs with focus on performance and durability
Your Profile
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Natural Sciences, or a comparable field
Good practical knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink and/or Python or experience with other common programming languages
Experience in simulation and modeling of lithium-ion cells; knowledge of battery aging mechanisms is an advantage
Basic knowledge of electrochemical energy storage and high-voltage battery systems is beneficial
