Saipem Offshore Construction (SOC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Saipem S.p.A. SOC brings together all operational activities in Italy related to fabrication, technical services, maintenance, and logistics, providing essential support for the execution of offshore construction and offshore wind projects.

Purpose of the position: As Vessel Field Engineer, you will be part of the Asset Based Services Business Line.

How can you support us?





Provide engineering services to the Project Manager or the Offshore Construction Manager to support the achievement of project objectives, following the plan and procedures developed by the project team, specifically:
Work in close contact with and report to the Offshore Construction Manager.
Carry out all tasks assigned by the Offshore Construction Manager, in direct contact with the Offshore Construction Assistant, the vessel captain, and the chief engineer.
Provide engineering support onboard the vessel, performing activities within your area of responsibility while ensuring compliance with quality and safety requirements (QA/QC and HSE).
Ensure the application of engineering procedures during construction activities.
Monitor construction/installation progress to ensure an adequate level of operational quality.
Manage the Daily Progress Report to track and record actual activities versus planned ones.
Verify subcontractor performance and assess their operati
