About The Role
Our technology team is developing a range of innovative solutions to help accommodation providers optimize the management of their businesses. As Smartness continues to grow, we are investing heavily in our products, platform, and engineering organization to support an increasingly international customer base.
As a Team Leader within our Engineering team, you will combine technical leadership with hands-on software development. This is not a purely managerial role: you will remain actively involved in coding, architecture discussions, code reviews,
and technical decision-making while supporting a team of engineers in delivering high-quality, impactful solutions.
You will work closely with Product Managers, Designers, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders to transform business needs and customer challenges into scalable software solutions. We are looking for someone with a strong product mindset, able to understand the "why" behind technical decisions, prioritize effectively, and guide the team toward solutions that create real value for users and the business.
You Will Be Responsible For
Leading and supporting a team of engineers while remaining actively involved in software development and technical delivery.
Writing production-level code using our core technologies, Node.js and Vue.js, contributing directly to the evolution of our products.
Driving technical discussions, architecture decisions, and code reviews while promoting high engineering standards.
Supporting engineers in so
