The Cloud Platform Operations Engineer – AWS is responsible for the hands‑on operation of the Imaging & Informatics cloud platform. Cloud Platform Operations Engineers are the operational backbone of the CloudOps organization. Once a product has met operational readiness requirements, this team is responsible for provisioning infrastructure, deploying cloud services, configuring AWS resources, and maintaining the operational health of the environment.

Your role:

-

- Ensure day‑to‑day operation, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and platform services with high reliability and uptime.

- Work closely with Cloud Operations Readiness Lead, product engineering teams, and service organization to ensure stable production environments.

- Develop expertise in AWS operations, Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, and monitoring , contributing to platform scalability and operational efficiency improvements .





- Provision and manage AWS infrastructure and platform services , including configuration, scaling, patching, and upgrades.

- Monitor environments and troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve critical incidents to ensure service continuity.

You're the right fit if you have:

-

- 5–10 years in cloud/platform operations , strong hands‑on experience with AWS production environments and incident management .

- Strong knowledge of AWS (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, monitoring) , Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) , CI/CD pipelines , scripting (Python/Bash) , and production troubleshooting .

- a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience. xysqume

- Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes , monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog) , and strong automation mindset with focus on reliability and continuous improvement .
