? Applied AI / Solutions Engineer (Generative AI & AI Agents)
A fast-growing Italian startup is looking for an experienced Applied AI / Solutions Engineer to join its team and support the design, development, and adoption of innovative Generative AI solutions for enterprise and public sector environments.
The role focuses on translating business challenges into scalable AI solutions, designing architectures, developing PoCs and MVPs, and supporting the implementation of AI systems and autonomous agents in real-world scenarios.
? Key Responsibilities
Analyze customer requirements and design end-to-end AI solution architectures.
Develop Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to validate AI solutions and business opportunities.
Design and optimize RAG pipelines, advanced prompt engineering strategies, and AI Agent workflows.
Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems, databases, APIs, and existing infrastructures.
Evaluate AI models and technologies based on performance, cost, scalability, and compliance requirements.
Support AI projects throughout their lifecycle, from experimentation to production deployment.
Create technical documentation, support knowledge transfer, and collaborate with customers and internal teams.
Contribute to the optimization of AI solutions in terms of security, reliability, and scalability.
? Requirements
Experience designing and implementing Generative AI solutions and end-to-end RAG systems.
Strong knowledge of Python and AI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack, LangGraph, AutoGen, or similar.
Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, AI Agents, and model adaptation techniques.
Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise environments through APIs and existing systems.
Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, Qdrant, PGVector) and traditional databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI/ML deployment practices.
